    Note: This page contains a description of the bands and general information about  Music in the Vineyards 2008.  The next page up shows the prices and the schedule at a glance.  Here is also a link to the amenities and policies.  All of these pages are available with pictures in a print version, the Concert Brochure, which is available by U.S. Mail.  If you would like to be on the mailing list, please use the contact numbers above.  Note to families:  this summer we will continue our policy regarding small children.  That is, babies and children will not be admitted to the concerts.  Again this year:  due to PA liquor laws, persons under age 21 will not be admitted, even if they are accompanied by their parent (or legal guardian). 

Music in the Vineyards 

Romantic evenings await you at this summer's lawn concert series.   Our 27th season offers a wide variety of bands and music styles.  Join us for a memorable evening of music, romance and relaxation in the shadow of the winery's tall stone arches.

July 4  Celebrate Independence Day with The Uptown Band featuring Erich Cawalla and Jenifer Kinder.  With seven members, they play a rich variety of music from the Motown years to the present.  This will be their third season at Nissley Vineyards, and their patriotic numbers are sure to soar.   More info: www.uptownbandmusic.com

July 11  The Fabulous Cheeze Brothers & Sisters have been entertaining audiences in the area since 1990.  Although this will be their first season at Nissley Vineyards, we are certain our audience will enjoy their mix of music from the 60's and 70's.   More info:  www.cheezebrothers.com

July 18  The ever popular Big Band Nostalgia will be returning with their hits of the big band era and contemporary romantic favorites.  This 15-member band is led by Bill Hicks and features Tricia Scott as vocalist.   More info: www.bigbandnostalgia.com.

July 25  Nightwind will return with an evening of classic light rock for their 16th appearance at the vineyards.  The Nissley audience always has a great time with this band.

August 1  The SilverHawks will be returning for their eighth season at Nissley Vineyards.  They are a Lancaster band of 12 musicians who combine classic rock with soul and Motown for a musically charged evening.  More info:  www.thesilverhawks.com

August 8 You will feel like "dancing with the stars" when the Blue Moon Big Band takes the stage.  These 18 musicians, based in Maryland, form an authentic 1940's style swing orchestra that specializes in the timeless music of the American big band era.  More info:  www.bluemoonbigband.com.  Watch for their movie debut in "My One and Only" starring Kevin Bacon and Renee Zellweger. 

August 15  The Headliners will return for their sixth season at Nissley Vineyards as their very talented band of six brings to life Top 40 hits from the 60's thru the 90's.

August 22  Led by Rich Clare on the trombone and vocals, the six member Pentagon will put on a show of rock music from the 50's thru 80's.  Their approach to performing is:  "We're gonna have a good time, and you're welcome to join us."

August 29   The Roof Rockers are a group of nine musicians who can't help stirring up a party with their classic horn-driven rhythm & blues.  More info:  www.roofrockers.com

September 5   Back by audience demand, Flashback with Donna Mark will close the series with a variety of music from the 60's and 70's.  They will fill the night air with their memorable style.   More info:  www.flashbackrocks.net.
