       If you are looking for unusual venues to hold your wedding, reception, reunion, private party, etc., here are several recommendations.  

            For an outdoor tented event, we can recommend Rock Ford Plantation in Lancaster, PA  (717-392-7223).  In the Harrisburg area, you might try the Fort Hunter Museum (717-599-5751) or the Italian Garden at the Felicita resort (717-599-5732), www.felicitaresort.com.  

            The Conewago Manor Inn (717-361-0826) www.conewagomanorinn.com is nearby, and it has indoor facilities.  The Cameron Estate Inn (717-492-0111) www.cameronestateinn.com is also nearby.  It has a spacious lawn, indoor facilities and a restaurant that carries Nissley wines.
