        Winning awards for the wines we produce at Nissley Vineyards is very gratifying.   On this page is a complete listing of our winners in several competitions that were entered recently.  If you would like to place an order, please see the To Order page.

       Please keep in mind that  not all wines are submitted for judging, so please do not assume that a wine is inferior because it has not won an award.  Similarly, even though Naughty Marietta is one of our most popular wines, it does not always win awards.  We submit our wines for judging, and we relay the results to our customers so that they will feel more comfortable about selecting a wine that is unknown to them.  

        The awards are vintage-specific.  If the wine does not qualify for a vintage date, we refer to the copyright date, displayed at the bottom or side of the wine label in small print.  This copyright date is the same as the year that the fruit was grown.

        Awards do not necessarily indicate a wine that you will like.  You are the best judge of that.  

        A winning wine on this listing may now be sold out, but this list is not kept strictly up-to-date in that regard.  After a winner has been sold out, the next vintage will most likely be available in our shops.  On the other hand, some recent winners may have not yet been released.  The Wine Prices page is a more accurate indication of the wines which are currently available in the shops.   Wines that have not yet been released can be obtained by special order.  Sorry: wines will not be available for sampling until they have been released.  If you would like to be notified as soon as the wine is released or if you would like to place a special order, please use the contact numbers above.
