Amenities & Policies for Music in the Vineyards 2008
Minors and Small Children
Due to problems in past years, we do not admit minors to the concerts.
A minor is any person younger than age 21. This policy applies even when the
minor is accompanied by his/her own parent. This policy also
prohibits bringing babies and young children to the concerts. Please
note: if a person appears to be younger than age 30, he/she will be
required to show a valid photo ID.
Rain Policy
We rarely cancel a concert due to weather.
The band sits in a sheltered area, and we encourage the audience to bring
umbrellas. If it's raining when you arrive, you can wait in your car
before you pay to come in. If it starts raining after the band begins to
play, your ticket is usually exchangeable for a pro-rated Raindate Ticket, which
is valid for the current and future concert seasons. Present your
admission ticket when you drive out. We only cancel the concert if it
starts raining early, and it's predicted to last. (No raindate
tickets issued after 9:00 pm. No cash refunds after the concert begins.)
Congratulatory Announcements
If you are celebrating a special occasion, please
inform the bandleader during breaktime (8:30-9:00). A combined
announcement will be made during the second set.
Cigar Smoking
Due to numerous complaints from the audience, cigar
smoking is no longer permitted on the grounds.
Sorry, the following activities are not
permitted:
Carry-in alcoholic beverages and nonalcoholic
look-alikes.
Portable grills and fires.
Torches and lanterns, including those operated by battery.
Food or drink on the dance patios.
Bringing pets into the parking or seating areas.
Spraying pesticides or pouring melted candle wax on the lawn. (Please use
the wax can at the wine bar.)

Climbing on or over the white wooden fences.
Wine Sales after 9:00. (Due to PA regulations.)
Also, to be considerate of others, we ask that
our patrons refrain from the following activities:

other patrons. (They are permitted next to the parking meadow fence.)
Holding stand-up picnic buffets or generally
standing where you block another patron's view during the performance.

required.)
