11:10 a.m. This evening from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., our Music in the Vineyards 2009 concert series will be off to a fine start, with the Uptown Band performing rich variety, Motown to present. The weather prediction is sunny, breezy and warm -- a nice evening for a lawn concert. The grounds will be open all day, and they will be ready for the concert at 6:00 p.m. We recommend that you arrive between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. We do not expect an overcapacity crowd, so you can come anytime after 6:00 and be assured of admittance. Tickets ($15 per person) are available at the time of the concert, not in advance. Canceling a concert is extremely rare. If cancellation should become necessary a notice would be posted on this page, as soon as we know. Notice regarding minors and small children: No one under legal age 21 will be admitted to the concerts. This includes babies and small children. There will not be a fireworks presentation, and fireworks of any kind are prohibited.
