The wine trail which includes Nissley Vineyards is called Uncork York. The trail includes many York County wineries and several in neighboring counties, such as Lancaster County, where we are located. The web site www.uncorkyork.com received commendations in the June 6-7, 2009 issue of the Wall Street Journal by the authors of "Tastings", a regular column in the paper. They wrote: "We especially like this site because it proves that a wine region doesn't have to be big or famous to have a fine visitor site. This site for the 12 wineries in the York, Lancaster, Gettysburg and Harrisburg areas of Pennsylvania is vibrant and fun, with excellent, easy-to-use maps. Print out one nicely concise PDF map and you're ready to go." In March, this wine trail sponsors a special event called "Tour de Tanks". We participated this year, and we plan to again in 2011.
